In late 2018, John Koehler acquired an Apple iPad Pro, a pressure-sensitive Apple pencil, and a program called ProCreate. Thus began an intensive four years to master his new art tools, study techniques and create more than 300 works of art by the Spring of 2022. Koehler created a series of dogs, animals, nudes, and portraits.
