Vietnam 1966

This is the story of my 13-month tour in a combat zone, Vietnam 1966, told in the 1st person, with dialog and narrative describing the action. Vietnam veterans are now the warrior generation that is fading away, with the youngest just turning 70, and so many stories will die with us. Stories of heroism, devotion to duty, and courage. Also of humor, compassion, endurance and determination. I make no effort to hide my own flaws, or the flaws of our effort in Vietnam, but the story avoids the
