Fibroids is a health condition that may impact up to 80% of women under 50 in the UK, with a higher proportion of sufferers being Black women – which may be one of the systemic reasons why this condition exists under the radar. Symptoms can be life-impacting and debilitating, and can even affect fertility. Often women feel completely at a loss, even after diagnosis the pathway ahead isn’t clear. NHS waiting lists remain long – gynaecology services remain the worst affected post-pandemic – and th
