Unchain Me Mama

Every mother on Earth was first a little girl, a teenager, a young woman. Every mother on Earth was first someone’s daughter. Cycles of birth and growth and maturity and age are repeated, and thus, families become generations. Also repeated are many of the difficult patterns and psychosocial phenomena that seem to define and bind female identity. Mothers and daughters unwittingly mirror each other and find themselves carrying forward the heavy chains of unexamined personal histories. Unchain Me
