Pilgrimage seems to be as old as the mountains and even from before ancient times people have been on journeys. Some journeys take one away from discomfort and others leads one towards a benefit, imagined or real. Some people journey for the sake of curiosity while others journey out of necessity. Certain travellers walk alone, and others are joined in their quest as they share their experiences, hopes and expectations with fellow sojourners along the way. I judge this last kind of pilgrim to be
