Thomas 'Tom' Josiah Wedgwood (1797–1860) was the grandson of the English potter and entrepreneur Josiah Wedgwood, and the son of John Wedgwood and Louisa Jane (Jenny) Allen.Tom was a professional soldier, gazetted Ensign in the 3rd Foot Guards at the age of sixteen.
