The early stages of stroke recovery can seem like climbing a mountain all day, every day, but it does get easier as the days, weeks, months and years march on. I can see, I can speak, I can read and write, I can walk (albeit in a clumsy fashion) and, from time to time with some pain, especially when my muscles aren't cooperating with my bones.   I decided to write this book on a lovely winter day while out with my support worker.
