The Role of Laboratories and Blood Banks in Disaster Situations

Laboratories and blood banks have essential tasks to be carried out in disaster situations, and they must be integrated into the contingency plans of the health sector. PAHO/WHO has prepared this technical training material as a resource to facilitate preparedness and strengthen of these facilities in disaster situations.
