The Pieces of Me

"THE PIECES OF ME" is about events in Bobbe's life from college to 2 years before her death. She wrote about her grandchildren, the feelings she had when I would leave for deployment overseas and my homecoming. The poem "OUR NATION'S CAPITAL" was written after we returned from a weeks visit to Washington, DC with our 2 oldest grandsons. The poem "THE PIECES OF ME" reflects the information about her ancestors. Bobbe was a Navy wife, mother of 4 and grandmother to 7. She suffered from Parkinson's
