THE LIFE OF AN ADDICT

This book of poetry was inspired by my tragic events in my darkest days of addiction. There were assaults, sexual assaults, life on the streets and the deaths of many people that I associated with from drug overdoses. I lived through a hell that only an addict can understand. During the end of my drug use, I would pray that God would just let me die, not caring if I went to Heaven or Hell. I just didn't want to live anymore. Today I embrace my new life without drugs.
