The Human Hippocampus (2nd ed.)

Since the first edition of this book was published (Duvernoy 1988), considerable advances have been made. The new edition therefore includes current concepts about functions of the hippocampus and a study of its external and internal vas­ cularization. Head sections and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) views have also been added to the previous atlas of sections. The book is divided into four sections, preceded by an introduction (Chap. 1) and a short comment on the material and methods (Chap. 2
