The Fine-grained Structure of the Lexical Area

This chapter completes the analysis of appreciative morphemes for non-verbal categories. In §?5.1, §?5.2 and §?5.3, I discuss the analysis of the second group of appreciative morphemes. In §?5.4 I present my proposal for the third group. §?5.5 discusses the use of appreciatives with adjectives and adverbs, and §?5.6 presents the analysis of chains of appreciative morphemes. The analysis of appreciatives with verbs is the topic of Chapter 6.
