The Cleansing of the Inner Man and Self

One reason that Jesus came to earth was to redeem man (inner man) back to the Father through his death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is for the inner man. It is not for you, your flesh. Self is the enemy of the soul. The Holy Spirit purges the soul of sin when he is invited by you. He also keeps a close surveillance on self because it will wreak havoc of the soul. Self is the one that sins; the real you (inner man) does not sin at all because he is Christlike. Self is embedded in the soul
