Rediscovering the Goddess

In high school, I chose I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou, for a book report. This book is an unforgettable autobiography detailing the strength, courage and wisdom of an amazing Black woman. I researched why a caged bird may sing: Struggle Unfair treatment Unrest in the soul For me, I experienced all three.....an internal struggle of wanting to be it all: a mother, wife, entrepreneur, daughter, sister, best friend, employee, world traveler, and an explorer all while being untamed.
