Maryanne Sanders was born in New Zealand, where she lived on a farm. She has travelled widely and has worked in Thailand, London and Scotland, and has been in beautiful Adelaide, Australia, for more than forty years. Maryanne worked with adult migrants and refugees for over thirty years at TAFE in aspects of their settlement in Australia.
