Puck of Pook’s Hill

Dan and Una acted Midsummer Night's Dream three times over on Midsummer's Eve, in the middle of a Ring - right under Pook's Hill. That was how they met Puck, "the oldest Old Thing in England", and the last of the People of the Hills. With Puck, they were introduced to the nearly forgotten pages of old England's history, and to the people who had lived near Pook's Hill and helped to make that history. This story of Dan and Una's adventures has the feel and spirit of Old England. It is told with w
