Painting The Pinwheel Sky

The poems in this manuscript are persona poems, spoken primarily in the voice of Vincent Van Gogh but a few by others prominent in his life. Italicized passages within the poems are direct quotations from Van Gogh's letters to his brother Theo. In other poems Van Gogh's thoughts and ideas are frequently paraphrased, summarized, or interpreted.
