This prayer of adoration is a compilation of references to, and the names and titles given to Jesus Christ and claimed by Him. The purpose is to show the continuity of religion, that is, the continuous and connected whole of Revelation concerning the Messiah, from Genesis right through the Apocalypse of St. John.
