On the Deeds of St. Henry

The Emperor Henry II also known as Saint Henry the Exuberant, was Holy Roman Emperor during the first years of the 11th century. He was also a third order oblate of the Order of St. Benedict. During his lifetime he was regarded as a pious and righteous Christian monarch, and sought to establish policies to act as custodian over the church and its social mission.
