Raised on the streets of Detroit, Michigan, during the toughest period(1980 -1996) in Detroit's history since the riots, I learned how to survive.  Those lessons came at a cost of my freedom, failed relationships, and to many close calls with death. I learned that having faith in one's self and a strong network can propel you beyond all of the bad decisions, and help you, not only live beyond all of the mistakes, but, can also help you live a positive and successful life.   T
