N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone

This book evaluates the risks to human health and the environment posed by exposures to N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). NMP is a water-miscible organic solvent and is used in the petrochemical industry in the microelectronics fabrication industry and in the manufacture of various compounds including cosmetics drugs insecticides. An increasing use of NMP is as a substitute for chlorinated hydro-carbons.
