Sometimes success doesn't feel like it should. Many of us are surprised when we don't experience joy in our accomplishments. Too often our outward appearance of success and achievement mask the inner turmoil of our hearts and souls. We believe working harder will solve the problem, but it just makes us more tired. Deep in our hearts we know this can't be what Jesus meant when He promised us an abundant life. But what we don't realize is how our self-driven natures tie us to performancism-the bel
