Magnus VI, King of Norway, develop in his lifetime the reputation for the amending of Norway's ancient legal code, and granting specific definitions for the role of the king, his role privileges, protections allotted under the law to gentrymen, and the immunity of the Church of Norway. Magnus specified them here early in his reign, attempting to centralized the Norweigan government to a single entity. Among his efforts, the Magnus Lagabotes Iandslov (Magnus Lagabotes' Sate Law) stands as a testa
