Just in the Neck of Time™

The book follows the story of a young Haredi Jew name Yosef Gershom. His hand disability is the result of a congenital problem in his foramen magnum and cerebellum that causes a neurological difficulty in moving his hands. As described in the title, this malformation is in his neck. Just in the Neck of Time comes from phrase 'just in the nick of time' and is simply clever wordplay, though the story handles the situation of the neurosurgeon's experiments as a medium for showing ancestral memory.
