Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation conceived in Liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Abraham Lincoln was not yet born when the United States was foundered. President Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address approximately 87 years after the birth of America. Yet, he knew the history of this Nation. How could any man make the opening statements as made in the Gettysburg Address while knowing the history of America
