As the author of both the paintings and the narrative, I find that some of my own story is intertwined within this book. Each painting is accompanied by a story. Although each painting really stands alone; you will notice that they portray what appears to be the same young woman in varying difficult circumstances. The young woman's identity is a mystery, but you may find that you can easily insert your name into her life experiences. Life can be very hard at times. I expect everyone can testify
