I Died In July Of That Year

A group of teenagers who play with pen fairies inadvertently provoke evil spirits. Friends around them die one after another, and all that can save them is something seemingly useless. The time of death is near; it is July of the same year. How should one break the curse of the Pen Fairy? Is it 'if you start with blood, you will end with blood'? Or do you kill your companions for self-preservation? Betrayal, suspicion or choose to trust?
