Synopsis: Many of these poems came from a sad place in the heart of Candice as she grew up with six other siblings for just a short time. They all began leaving one by one and she became the only one left at home. The innocence and worries of childhood left her at the age of fifteen when her father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and then her cat all passed away!
