Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a group of disorders that affect connective tissues. Connective tissues are proteins that support the skin, bones, and joints. EDS can cause joint dislocations and fragile skin and tissue. There are different types of EDS, each with its own set of symptoms. The most common type is hypermobile EDS (hEDS), which is marked by increased joint flexibility and fragile skin.
