Ecological Psychoacoustics

The focus of the book will be to outline recent advances in dynamic, cognitive, and environmental investigations of psychoacoustics. Each chapter will examine advances in the traditional sub areas of psychoacoustics (e.g., pitch, loudness, timbre), as well as how these different dimensions interact, and how the findings are being applied in areas such as auditory displays, virtual environments, and multimedia technology.
