Destiny of the Scotch-Irish

The first printing of Destiny of the Scotch Irish was accomplished more than four decades ago. The book, a religious migration history, accounts the movement of Scotch-Irish Presbyterians from Northern Ireland to New York, South Carolina, South Eastern Ohio and Western Illinois from 1720 to 1853. In 1853 the Monmouth Academy was founded, a secondary institution, followed in 1856 by formal opening of Monmouth College.
