Cultural Memory in the Icelandic Contemporary Sagas

The objective of this book is to analyse the Old Icelandic sagas dealing with the twelfth to fourteenth centuries – the secular contemporary sagas and the bishops’ sagas – from the perspective of cultural memory studies.
