David wanted to believe that urban legends like the Hodag and Goatman could actually be real. He also knew that people like himself could convince themselves of anything. Nevertheless, if there was any real magic left in the world, it would be in his hometown of Milwaukee. His search would eventually lead him to an odd shoe repair shop and realms beyond.
