Caterpillar's Day Out is a charming and beautifully illustrated children's picture book about a young caterpillar who spends the day outdoors and has to cross a busy road to get back home - except many cars of every color make it hard for her to safely do so, and so she has to find a better way across, perhaps with the help of a friend.
