Bone of His Bone, Flesh of His Flesh

Our son, Jonathan, was diagnosed in 2013 with Legg-Calve Perthes disease. He went from an athletic child prodigy to a little boy bound by A-frames and/or a wheelchair while his disease progressed. The good news about this disease is it has a good prognosis. The process to get to the end is very disturbing and heart wrenching for the child and the family. Towards the end of Jonathan's journey, he asked me to write a book about his experience. I nodded my head and agreed that would make a good boo
