Between a Road and a Hard Place

Most people hitchhike only as an emergency measure. As soon as all is well they toss their thumb back in the drawer. Some do it for a little adventure between semesters, and then they continue with their planned out lives. Marlindid it because there was little else he could handle emotionally.
