Betrayed by Country, Betrayed by Blue, Redeemed by God

 I was the average Hispanic female that can be found in many inner cities in America. Growing up in poverty and all the trimmings that come with that, I was determined to make my life better and not repeat the cycle. By the grace of God, I managed to make decisions that allowed me to break the cycle and become a productive citizen. Because of inner strongholds and fantastical hopes, I managed to dig pits that made my life harder than it had to be, but somehow I always managed to get through
