Among the Red Autocrats

First published in 1935, this is the full and frank account of author George Solomon's service to the Soviet Government during the Russian Civil War. Solomon, who was named First Secretary to the Commissar for Commerce and Industry, Leonid Borisovich Krasin, in July 1918, provides a detailed record of his time with the Red Autocrats, beginning with assuming his new position and his first meeting with L. B. Krasin in Germany in July of 1918, being welcomed as an enemy in his native Russia in June
