I Songul 'Diamond' Oruc, am the first Woman World Kickboxing Champion in Australia. In the 1990s, women were not permitted to fight in the ring. With persistence and determination, I changed laws so that women were allowed to fight in all states and territories of Australia. It was a time when women were not accepted as equals.
