Jon Duncan Hagar was born in the 1950s in Burlington, Vermont, and is the eldest son of the Cookie Lady for whom this story is about and dedicated to. He has four brothers, one niece, four nephews, three grandnieces, and two grandnephews. Jon has authored technical books and a few family stories. Before retiring, he worked as a rocket scientist, teacher, mentor, and software engineer for nearly forty years.
