A meditation 49 poems long on life that combines creative flights within a haiku-like discipline. Every poem comprises just 49 syllables, with seven syllables on each of seven lines. This formal rigour provides a skeleton on which a filigree of feelings, thoughts and discursive world-play are wrapped.
